MYTHSCAPE
A downloadable game
MYTHSCAPE is a rules-lite TTRPG game ruleset meant for a short, simple, and easy to learn experience - for players just starting their adventure with tabletop role playing games or seasoned players that would like to try something lighter on the rules. The only requirement to play is a few six-sided dice. The game is highly modular, meaning that (upcoming*) add-ons, are interchangable, and can expand your gameplay as much or as little as you like.
MYTHSCAPE is a world imbued with enchantment, where the very fabric of reality resonates with magic. Mystical spells, mysterious creatures, enchanted artifacts and their fearsome owners are just a few of the things that can be encountered around every corner. Magic lurks inside all things, and its absence is a rarity that attracts attention.
MYTHSCAPE is meant to be set in a high fantasy world, fusing whimsical fairytales with grim dark fantasy, taking inspiration from media such as Terry Prachett's "Disk World", Pendleton Ward's "Adventure Time", Triumph Studios' "Age of Wonders" and many others. But hey, your MYTHSCAPE your rules! You can freely fork into low fantasy cosmic horror sci-fi and call it... mythspace? (dibs on that, I might do it myself)
*What's next? The core rulebook you see below is completely free, but you can tip a few bucks that will go to creation of modules. What are modules you ask? They will include lore, locations, characters, items, spells, rules expansions, maybe even figurines - all in the style of what you can find currently in the rulebook. You can create your own modules as well and share them with others on our discord:
